His Mercies Are Made New Every Morning
Friend, His mercies are made new every morning.
His grace and mercies are never-ending, never failing, and always available to us.
What a wonderful gift this is from our Creator.
Ephesians 2:8-9 says, “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast”.
We have done nothing on our end to earn this gift.
Scripture tells us in Romans 3:23 that we all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.
We justly deserve death because of our sins, not saving.
And it was only through the redemption of Jesus’s death and resurrection that we were graciously gifted with grace and mercy.
Friend, we longer live separate from God but are free from condemnation and now have salvation through Him.
The enemy, however, wants to keep you and me in condemnation. He likes to whisper lies and doubts in our minds so that we stray from God.
But God solely desires for us to seek Him where we are. Sins and mistakes included.
He is not waiting for us to be perfect, nor can we.
That hamster wheel of doing better and trying harder is not what God wants from you and me.
He, instead, is after our hearts.
God wants us to depend solely on Him and have faith that He is making a new thing even when we cannot perceive it.
Friend, His grace is sufficient for your sins, and His mercies are made new every morning.
I pray today you are reminded of this beautiful and loving gift we have been given and begin seeking His presence.
Remember, you are His beloved and forgiven.
