He Will Never Fail

Friend, He will never fail.

The scriptures are full of faithful promises when we feel forsaken.

We see Moses tell God he is not fit or equipped to face Pharaoh, but God assures him He would be with him and help lead the way. And He does.

When Joshua is called up by God to bring the Israelites into the promised land, he was fearful and weary of completing such a monumental task. But God promised Joshua He would be with Him, and He was.

When Joseph was sold to the Egyptians by his envious brothers, the enemy meant this act of evil. But God took it and made it good, and Joseph became a strong and honorable ruler praising God.

Friends, when we open up our Bibles and begin reading His word, we find that others before us have encountered uncertain circumstances too.

We are not the exception or exempted from adversity.

Jesus says in John 16:33, “Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart because I have overcome the world.”

Thank God for Jesus.

Thank God we have a savior who willingly placed His life on the cross to die for our sake.

When we face hardships, God continually reminds us to fix our eyes on Him because He is trustworthy and faithful in His promises, even when we do not have answers for our suffering.

Charles Spurgeon once said, “If we cannot believe God when circumstances seem to be against us, we do not believe Him at all.”

Friend, if sorrow and disappointment are weighing heavy on your heart, I pray your cries lead you to God and not from Him.

I pray you grow a deeply rooted faith that trusts in Him and rely on His presence solely.
