He Is Good

God, He is really good!

If you’ve been a follower of Christ for some time, it can be easy to lose that awe-stricken reverence for who God is.

However, when we recall how Jesus transformed us from the inside out, we are better equipped to live more reverenced and hope-filled lives because we can remember how much His presence changed us.

This conviction in remembering who our savior is came to me as I read a commentary the other day. It said:

The greatest man in history had no servants, yet they called Him Master.

This man had no degree, yet they called Him Teacher.

He had no medicines, yet they called Him Healer.

He had no army, yet kings feared Him.

He won no military battles, yet He conquered the world.

This man committed no crime, yet they crucified Him.

He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today.

And this man, we call Jesus.

He is our savior and was sent here for the sole purpose of rescuing us, not condemning us.

Let this reminder today ignite your faith and restore your reverence for who your redeemer is.

He is the beginning and the end and makes the darkness tremble.

Friend, we can marvel in reverence of the Holy One we serve because of the glorious deeds He completed for us and in us.

Psalm 66:12, saysΒ we went through fire and water, but You brought us to a place of abundance.

Let your faith be refreshed today as you recall how He made you new through and through.

He is a good God.
