We Live For Him

Friend, we live for Him.

Be wholly devoted to Christ.

Psalm 16:2 says- “I say to the Lord, You are my Lord; I have no good apart from you.”

If we were created to do life with God, what is life without Him?

Meaningless? Confusion? Hopeless? Dark? Condemnation?

Friends, having a personal relationship with God is our sole purpose on this side of heaven.

We have been made by Him and for Him.

And because of that, God knows we need Him, and as the Psalmist says- we have no good apart from Him.

When we wholly devote ourselves to God, there is no separation between our spiritual life and everything else.

Scripture says when we are in Christ, we are a new creation. The old has passed, and the new has come (2 Corinthians 5:17).

But how do we begin to devote our lives to Christ?

Here are a few examples:

1. You can start reading your Bible daily.
2. You can begin each morning with prayer and praise.
3. You can serve at your local church or host a family for dinner.
4. You can listen to worship music daily.

Devoting our life to Christ means we invite God into every part of our lives and serve others because we serve Him first.

Friend, a life committed to Christ is not without suffering, but devotion to Him also includes an abundance of love, grace, mercy, and eternal life.

He has equipped us with unique gifts and talents to serve others.

And when we do it for Him, all glory shines on His goodness through us.

Today, let us live wholly devoted to Him alone.
