I Love You, Lord

He is worthy of the words- I love you, Lord.

If your heart is weary and your faith is drifting, pray this prayer today, friend:

God, you are perfect and worthy of our praise, above all else.

There is no other God like you, before you, or after you.

You alone are the Creator of this world.

Thank you, Lord, for intricately forming me and placing me here at this exact moment in time.

You, alone, always know what is best for me in all seasons.

Lead me today, Lord.

As I go about my days, I pray to be gentle, kind, slow to anger, and quick to forgive.

Lord, help me walk in the fruit of the spirit, and may I remember to rest my worries at your feet first.

I love you, Lord, and need you all the days of my life.

Help me follow your voice today.

In your holy and powerful name, I pray. Amen.

Psalm 141:2 says, “Let my prayer be counted as incense before you, and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice!” (ESV)

It is through prayer that we grow closer to the Lord. Throughout scripture, Jesus is seen praying to the Lord because He understands that His Heavenly Father is listening. This same God is still here listening to your prayers, too. While times may feel silent before Him, never stop praying to Him. He is there in our presence, making a way. Let us lift our hands in the abundance of prayer this week.
