One of my favorite worship songs is “In Jesus Name” by Katy Nichole.

The song goes on to say this-  

I speak the name of Jesus over you

In your hurting, in your sorrow

I will ask my God to move

I speak the name 'cause it's all that I can do

In desperation, I'll seek Heaven

And pray this for you

These words are powerful and can be felt deeply in whatever season you find yourself in.

Whether you are facing hard times, grief, sorrow, or disarray, the only One who can heal you and bring you back to hope is Jesus Himself.

Friend, I, too, speak the name of Jesus over you because it is all that I can do.

Today, I pray over your circumstances.

I pray God is with you and saturating you with His holy presence.

I pray you receive His blessing and believe He is still working in you and through you amongst your suffering.

The Bible teaches us in Psalm 139 that God is always with us- whenever we sit down and rise up, He is there, discerning our thoughts from afar.

Beloved, I pray in Jesus’ name for your faith to be renewed and for His relentless love to heal your broken heart.

I pray for revival in your life and for the God of all authority to bring you His peace and hope.

He is still good.

He is still worthy of our praise and worship.

I pray this over you in Jesus’ name. Amen.

While the world will have you believe that evil prospers and justice doesn’t prevail, the Bible tells us otherwise.

Let’s read what Psalm 94:14-15 says about this- For the Lord will not reject his people; he will never forsake his inheritance. Judgment will again be founded on righteousness, and all the upright in heart will follow it.

You see, the God we serve is still standing amongst us now.

He is everlasting and is still moving mountains that we can not see or understand yet.

And as believers, we are called to have faith even as small as a mustard seed.

We can dwell not in the noise of this world but in the One who never becomes faint or weary.

Friend, let not the worries of these times drift you away from your faith in Christ but instead, let your hope in the Lord be renewed when you seek your strength in Him first.

The Bible says those who trust in the Lord will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not become weary, and they will walk and not faint.

We can do nothing apart from Christ, but in Him, we have all the strength of His might that we need to keep going in this life.

He is worth keeping our hope anchored to today, tomorrow, and forever.
